道具を思う

アトリエには色々な道具があふれています。はさみやオアシスナイフ、カッター、定規、バケツetc…ついつい単に道具ととらえてしまってローコストにしようと味気ないものを購入してしまったりしがちなのですが、基本的に美しくないものは嫌いなので、悩みながらも、使うたび楽しくなるようなものを揃えるようにしたいなぁと思っています。（とはいえ、なかなか現実はそうはいってないものもありますが…とほほ）
先日、小さなお裁縫用のはさみでフランス製のとてもフォルムの美しいものを見つけ、即座に買ってしまいました。ワイヤーが切れるわけではないので、アトリエでは大活躍とは行かないかもしれませんが、ちょっとしたものを切る時に楽しめたら良いなと思ったのです。思ったとおり、テーブルの上にそれがあるだけでとても楽しい気分になります。美しいものの効果、でしょうか？
つくづく、妥協せずにピンと来た素敵なもの（美しいもの、とは限りませんよね。味気なくないもの、ですね）を道具もそろえていかなくちゃと感じ、反省したのでした（笑）
